Ogłaszamy24: what to watch for on the free ad board

People usually search for opinions on Ogłaszamy24 in one of two situations: they have found an ad in the site’s adult category and wonder whether to trust it, or they are considering posting an ad there themselves. Oglaszamy24.pl is a Polish general-purpose, free classifieds board — alongside job offers and items for sale it also runs an adult (“Towarzyskie”, i.e. companionship) category. In other words, the portal openly declares that there is no pre-publication moderation of ads — it intervenes only after the fact, reserving the right to delete or block content that breaks its terms.

There is a second clause worth knowing about: the terms prohibit pornographic content and content “offering or facilitating prostitution or other similar sexual services” — even though the adult category exists. Ads published there therefore balance on the edge of the site’s own rules and can be removed at any moment, without warning.

What this means if you are browsing

Free publication with no prior review attracts exactly the phenomena you would expect: fake ads with stolen photos, duplicates of the same ad across many cities, and prepayment scams. Since nobody reviews content before it goes live, all the verification is on you:

1. Check the photos — a reverse image search will catch pictures copied from other sites or reappearing under different names.
2. Call, don’t just message — a genuine ad has a phone number, and a short call tells you more than a week of texting.
3. Never pay upfront — a “deposit”, a payment code or a top-up before the meeting is classic fraud; you pay in person.
4. Compare the price with the market — offers clearly below realistic rates are bait.
5. Watch the date and the repeats — identical text in several cities at once, or an ad hanging unanswered for months, means there is nobody on the other end waiting for a call.

This list is not theoretical: on unmoderated boards fake ads are the rule, not the exception, because publishing them costs nothing and carries no risk.

What this means if you are advertising

Publication is free, but it has a price. First, your ad sits next to content nobody has verified — a client burned by fakes distrusts the whole list. Second, an escort ad contradicts the prohibition quoted above from the site’s own terms, so it can vanish without warning along with any paid promotion.
