Alone for the holidays? Companionship over Christmas and the new year in Poland
Published: August 24, 2026
Christmas is supposedly the most family-centred time of the year — which is exactly why, for many people, it is the hardest. Working abroad far from home, a divorce, a loss, a shift that falls on Christmas Eve, or simply a life that turned out differently from the adverts: there are countless reasons to spend December on your own, and none of them needs justifying.
Looking for companionship in this season is as normal as in any other: dinner together, a night out, a few hours of conversation with someone who actually listens. It is a legal companionship service between adults — the legal side is covered in detail in is escorting legal in Poland. Nobody on the other side will find such an invitation strange; for advertisers, December is a perfectly ordinary season for exactly these meetings.
What is different about the holiday period
One thing is worth knowing in advance: many companions travel for the holidays too. Around 24–26 December availability drops noticeably — leave the plan to the last minute and you may ring half the city without luck. So:
- write or call early — a meeting around Christmas Eve is best arranged several days ahead and confirmed on the day;
- check the “available now” status — on escortnow the available-now listings show who has just confirmed they are ready to meet; between Christmas and New Year it is the fastest route to an up-to-date list;
- flexibility helps — if 25 December proves difficult, 27–30 December are perfectly normal, quiet days.
Prices over Christmas
The good news: the Christmas period itself carries no holiday premium. Standard rates apply — roughly 250–400 PLN per hour in smaller cities and 400–600 PLN in Warsaw (details in how much do escort services cost in Poland). The real price peak comes only on New Year’s Eve — we cover that night, its rates and its booking calendar in a separate article.
Longer meetings — dinner and an evening rather than a single hour — are usually priced individually; ask directly for a multi-hour rate, which is often better than a simple multiple of the hourly one.
Etiquette for a holiday meeting
The rules are the same as always — we walk through them step by step in how to arrange a meeting — with a few seasonal nuances:
- Say what you are looking for. “Dinner and conversation, then we’ll see” is an honest and welcome frame; the other side knows how to prepare.
- You book the restaurant — over the holidays tables vanish fast, and “we’ll find something” ends as a walk through a closed city.
- A small gesture is fine — flowers or a good wine are appreciated, but they do not replace the agreed payment and do not “buy” anything extra.
- Punctuality and sobriety still apply — perhaps especially after the office Christmas party.
Safety — the holidays change nothing
The pre-Christmas rush is harvest time for scammers who count on haste and emotion. The rules stay iron-clad: no prepayments, “deposits” or payment codes before the meeting — you settle on site, in cash, in PLN. Stick to verified, moderated ads and trust only what you confirm in a phone call; how to tell a genuine ad from a fake one is explained in how to spot genuine escort ads.
Being alone at Christmas is nothing to be ashamed of — and one well-planned evening in good company can change the whole of December. Current, moderated ads: women in Warsaw, women in Krakow and the other cities from the home page.
